Plein Air Rockies 2010 - Paint Our Town
PAR artists will be painting along the Riverwalk and throughout the downtown area. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

August 28
Plein Air Rockies Quick Draw & Auction
8:30 a.m. to 12 Noon

Riverside Plaza, downtown in Estes Park
Watch as artists paint live models (or any subject they can see from the plaza) in a fast-paced 90-minute competition. The auction of wet works follows after the whistle denotes the end of the Quick Draw. Collectors will have 30 minutes to view the art.

Plein Air Rockies Gala Opening Day Festivities

12 Noon
At CAC Fine Art Gallery 423 W. Elkhorn Ave.
Freshly painted works created outdoor and on location earlier in August are now available for the public to view and purchase.
Gala Receptions and Awards
4 PM - 8 PM
Meet the artists and join in the celebration as over $7,000 in awards are presented to winning artists.

This is a two day, intensive workshop for pastelists and oil painters with Indianapolis artist Mary Ann Davis. Mary Ann will be focusing on studio painting from photographs as well as techniques to improve capturing the essence of a still life. We apply what we learn in the studio on Saturday in Plein Air.

Come ready to paint with and learn from a great contemporary artist!

Fees: $120 RAM Members / $135 General Enrollment

Ages: 9th grade- Adult

*Limited Space: 15 Spaces Available
