Mary Ann, has worked as a graphic designer since 1978, and founded Davis Graphic Design, in 1991. She earned her BFA from Herron School of Art in 1976, majoring in lithography,
and has studied painting under Antonious Raemaekers, Lois Griffel and Carolyn Anderson.

Mary Ann Davis works in an impressionist style with oil or pastel. Davis’s compositions
are filled with vibrant color, movement, and vitality. Her work captures the ever-changing
color of nature using Impressionistic elements. Mary Ann works primarily “en plein-air”
painting on location with oils and pastels. She has been featured in numerous juried shows
and has won regional and national awards for her work.

Mary Ann states; “My goal as a plein-air artist is to share my view of the world. Her work can be seen at Wickliff Fine Art, Zionsville, Indiana, Hoosier Salon Gallery in Indianapolis, and New Harmony, Mary Williams Fine Arts, Boulder, Colorado and Sheldon Fine Arts, Naples, Florida.
